TREVOR COWARD Trevor Coward (B.L. LL.B.) first qualified and practiced as a Barrister in Rhodesia, then served on the bench as a Magistrate, before re-training as a Solicitor in London under Sir David Napley. He was in the team defending Jeremy Thorpe MP in the celebrated trial for attempted murder. He spent a year with the European Law Centre, a Thomson Company publishing and promoting UK and European law in electronic form, then returned to private practice as a commercial litigation solicitor with Shoosmiths and Harrison. After a period as a commercial litigation/intellectual property solicitor with Denton Hall, he is now head of IT law, and a commercial litigation partner, at Geoffrey Leaver. His clients include Tektronix UK Ltd and Tektronix Inc (since 1988), and Dell Computer Corporation and its associated companies (since 1993). He also acts for software companies. He was President of Milton Keynes and District Law Society 1994-1995.
