LCI is a private alliance of experienced, e-mail literate business lawyers. Mr. Shane F. Weir was elected as a Director of the publicly listed CIBT Education Group Inc. at the Company's 2008 Annual General Meeting, held December 12, in Vancouver, Canada.

LCI member Enrique J. Batalla of Madrid has become the first Panelist to issue a Decision on .eu domain name disputes. The Decision is available at:

The Czech Arbitration Court assembled a preparatory team of legal professionals and expert lawyers to produce the .eu Dispute Resolution Rules and Supplemental Rules that currently govern the .eu ADR process. Batalla Abogados was one of the five firm appointed to the preparatory team, and worked closely on the drafting and development of the Rules and Supplemental Rules.
