JAN PACOVSKY (LL.M.)

Mr. Pacovsky has been involved for many years in the incorporation and management of so-called offshore companies, thus companies based in the countries with the best bargain tax regimen (i.e. “tax havens”) mainly, but not only, in the European Union. He has also successfully solved disputes relating to intellectual property and trademarks. He is also involved in the solution of some cases in the area of criminal law.  The clients mainly appreciate his negotiation skills.

Mr. Jan Pacovsky in course of studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, prepared some legal details for the Lord Mayor of the City of Prague.

He also participated in the EU Phare Programme targeted at implementation of European norms in the Czech legal order.

He started his career in the state administration after graduation in 1999 and as early as in 2000 he became the head of the legal department of the Office of the Mayor for the Municipality of Prague 8.

• Graduate of the Queen Mary, University of London - LL.M. in Banking and Finance Law

• Graduate of the University of Jerusalem, Ulpan Malkiya,

• Graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen

• Seminars on incorporation and management of offshore companies in Cyprus, Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry

• Seminar on incorporation and management of offshore companies in Malta, ACCA,
